Move Date Set!!!

So it is official. After so many months planning, we will be moving in July. Our first official open day for clients is July 23rd. We are so excited to be able to serve more clients with more services and programs.

Thanks donors for all your support that made this happen.

Please help us finish strong -- we are so close to our campaign goal. All contributions, no matter the amount would be greatly appreciated. Please consider a gift today.

.... May Flowers? How about May brings generous benefactors?

Construction has started at 1102 Millersville Pike to prepare it for our clients and the optimal use of the space for our programs and services. Thanks to the army of volunteer leadership (yes - a call out is in order to Franc Genoese and Peter Sydorko who are the Project Managers from the Board of Directors) ... and to all the other team members and volunteers who are ensuring that our new location will truly be "home" to our ministry of "life."

so .... drum roll please ...

We are at 92% of our goal. Excited. Humbled. Honored.

The team at A Woman's Concern is making you a commitment to be unbelievable stewards of these generous gifts. Gifts that truly allow us to transform lives. THANK YOU.

52%!! And Did you Register?

I’m going to keep this short…

I’m writing to you today because we are LESS THAN ONE WEEK AWAY from the cutoff date to register for our annual banquet. This year’s banquet theme – Life Brings Hope – promises to be an evening of hope, joy, and a celebration of LIFE as we hear from former abortion clinic workers who quit their job in the abortion industry.

These courageous women will share their stories of life inside of the abortion clinics and how quitting their job brought HOPE and newness of life. Their positive, uplifting stories will give us a beautiful glimpse of how hope brings life to everyone, including the abortion clinic worker. Click here to register for this positive, inspiring event!

42%!!

I'm writing this update to you today to quickly brief you on all that has taken place these past two weeks here at A Woman's Concern. What a two week's it has been!

First, I want you to be amongst the first to hear that we have reached 42% of our fundraising goal of $650,000! To date, we have raised over $272,000! WOW. Our partners - YOU - never cease to amaze me. THANK YOU.

Just yesterday, we were featured in both the Lancaster Newspaper AND ABC27 who both did a story on our Expanding Hope Project. You can read the article here! This is the first time we have ever been featured on ABC27, and I expect this will be one of many exciting firsts for us here at A Woman's Concern!

Also, I would be remiss if I did not thank the Knights of Columbus for their hard work in raising us over $80,000 to go towards medical equipment to be used in our new facility. What a beautiful ceremony we had!

As you can see, so much is taking place - we are making history here... and I want to make sure you are a continued part of it!

Last but certainly not least, you should have received an invite by now to our annual banquet. This year we are hearing from a panel of speakers, all of whom quit their job in the abortion industry. For these workers, the day they quit their job in the abortion industry and walked out of the door was their day of hope and newness of life. Come join us in hearing these inspiring stories that teach us how LIFE BRINGS HOPE for every one, in every state of life.

THANK YOU for your continued partnership and support for our mission. I will be back in touch again very soon with another exciting update!

For Life,
Jill Hartman,
Executive Director

PS: If you have not given, you can give any amount today online. $1,000, $500, $250, $100, $50, $25, anything helps us to ensure that we are able to provide expanded services and hope to women and their families in Lancaster.

New Years bring new Beginnings...

New Years bring new beginnings… and NEW initiatives for us here at A Woman’s Concern! And as our partner in mission, we want you to be amongst the first to hear about this big news…

As you may have noticed, we have a new look and logo! We are undergoing a new brand change (new website coming soon!). But before the website, comes the logo!

As we reflected on our new logo concept, we kept coming back to one thing: our iconic Purple Doors. For so many women and their families, the purple doors are a symbol of empowerment, hope, love, and strength. Many times the women who walk through our purple doors enter feeling overwhelmed or trapped in their situations; however, upon exiting, they feel relived, empowered and filled with a sense of hope. In addition, the Purple Doors enable us to reach a broader base of people, specifically men who often feel the same emotions that women feel when faced with an unexpected pregnancy. We are here to serve not just women, but their families as well. This is who we are.

But it is not just a new logo that I am e-mailing you about today…

I am thrilled to share that A Woman’s Concern will be tripling our space with a beautiful new building! Our new building is strategically located at 1102 Millersville Pike which is highly accessible to a new demographic in the West End sector of the city. This Expanding Hope Project will give A Woman’s Concern the space and the resources to become the first choice for women in Lancaster.  Our new space will allow us to:

  1. Increase our services

  2. Expand our programming

  3. Increase volunteer opportunities, and

  4. Establish our position as a medical facility, allowing us to meet the needs of our community on a new level.

We promised you that we had big things to announce, and we do! As our irreplaceable partner in the fight for human life, we need you now more than ever. Are you with us? If so, we need you to do the following:

  1. Make a tax deductible donation of $25, $50, $100, $250, $500, or a $1,000 today to help us with our expansion.

  2.  Visit Expanding Hope Project, and invite 3-5 friends to give and join us.

  3. Follow our new Expanding Hope Project on Facebook.

I will be in touch again soon with more updates. For now, THANK YOU for being an integral part of our mission. I am truly grateful.

For Life,

Jill Hartman
